On Sunday, July 14, 2023, HRM, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, the Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta, graced the 60th birthday celebration of HRM, Oba Adekunle Makama Oyelude, CON, Tegbosun III, the Olowu of Kuta.

The celebration was attended by royalties, dignitaries, chiefs, family, friends, and members of the community.
The event took place at the Ultramodern Palace of Olowu Kuta, Osun State.

Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme for Elderly People in Owu Community Sponsored by the Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta.
Earlier this year, HRM, Oba Prof. Saka Adelola Matemilola, Oluyalo Otileta VII, Olowu of Owu, Abeokuta sponsored the enrollment of elderly residents from the Owu communities into... the Ogun State Health Insurance Scheme.
On Friday, July 12, 2024, the beneficiaries received their insurance cards during a distribution event, which also included a brief orientation to educate them on the usage and benefits of the scheme.

At the Aare KazeemBakinson Foundation, you will have the chance to work at the forefront of cultural research. Our projects focus on investigating the cultural practices, rituals, and governance systems within the Owu Kingdom. By analyzing contemporary challenges and preserving oral histories, our research aims to maintain and document the kingdom's traditional governance structures for future generations.
✅ What We Are Looking For
We seek researchers who:
- Hold a minimum of a Master’s Degree, B.Sc, B.A, or B.Ed in relevant fields, especially Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences.
- Have excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Can work independently and collaboratively.
- Possess strong organizational and time management skills.
- Are familiar with research methodologies and data analysis techniques.
- Have a strong background in research (highly advantageous).
